What is additive manufacturing?

Additive manufacturing, also called 3D printing, is a technology used to build three-dimension parts using a layer-by-layer process. This enables achieving unique designs and the possibility of printing single objects without having to invest a lot of money into the creation of a mold.

Can I get parts out of wood or metal?

Wood-PLA is a composite material containing a fraction of wood embedded in a polymer matrix. Therefore, 100% wood is not achievable nowadays using a 3D printer.

It is possible to print with metal. This is however expensive. In any case, we would suggest to first print the part in polymer to validate the concept prior investing in a metal part.

Where will my parts be manufactured?

The parts will be manufactured in Europe and if possible, in the shipping country. For example, you order a part to be delivered somewhere in France, the parts will be manufactured in France.

From which country can I order parts from?

All European Union, including Switzerland. For countries outside of Europe, please reach out to us using the contact formular, we will investigate the possibility of shipping in your country.

How long does it take to receive my parts?

Usually, it takes around a week to get the parts printed and shipped to your attention. Given that the parts are not considered as standard, but printed on-demand, this explains the “extended” duration compared to parts that would be sitting in a warehouse.

What if I need to replace my parts in years from now, can you make sure it will not become obsolete?

Given that we do not have a stock of parts, but rather print on-demand, we will not have to face the dilemma of replacing out-of-stock materials. Indeed, we can guarantee that the parts designs are stored in our database and even if not found on our website, it will always be possible to get the file back from our server to get it printed for you. Even in several years.
